EFAS @ Hudson
Hudson College is proud to work with Renison University College at the University of Waterloo to provide the English for Academic Success (EFAS) program in Toronto.
Successful completion of EFAS Level 400 with an overall average of 80% will satisfy the English language requirement for entry into all University of Waterloo undergraduate and graduate programs. In other words, if you complete the EFAS Level 400 course, you will not need to submit TOEFL/IELTS test scores to gain entrance to the University of Waterloo.
Some graduate programs accept a minimum score of 75% in EFAS Level 300.
The program is an intensive academic English program. It focuses on improving students' communication and study skills that are necessary for success in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Classes are for High Intermediate to Advanced level students. (If a student’s English level is lower than the High Intermediate level, the student can start with Hudson College's regular ESL program first.)
Hudson College will also work with EFAS students to guide them through the detailed process of applying to the University of Waterloo, or any other universities in Canada, for the undergraduate or graduate programs.
EFAS in Toronto is offered three times a year:
September 12 - December 16, 2011 (14 weeks)
January 3 - April 4, 2012 (14 weeks)
April 9 - July 13, 2012 (14 weeks)
