The following costs are provided as a guideline, based on the 2018‒19 academic year.
|Uniforms||Approximately $600 for all new required items; please see the full list of uniform items; families can also visit the Huskies Den on-site to check available pieces on consignment|
|Upper School textbooks||$500‒1,000 depending on course selection; some discounted textbooks may be available on consignment|
|Hot lunch program (optional)||$5.25‒6.25 per meal; order individual, homestyle meals as preferred, with online payment or monthly billing|
|After-school care (optional, Grades 4 and below, 4:30‒6 p.m.)||$10 each session on an as-needed basis, with monthly billing|
|Transportation (optional)||A Lower School bus service is available for limited areas in the city ($367.25 per month in 2018‒19, subject to change); we are easily accessible by bus and streetcar, with stops at Ascot Avenue and St. Clair West|
|Optional co-curricular programs||Examples include JK‒Grade 1 lunchtime soccer with Doyle Soccer School ($60 in 18‒19); JK‒Grade 3 skating with Performance Skating ($45 in 18‒19); JK‒Grade 4 swimming with the Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club (free in 18‒19); and additional other clubs and programs listed here|
|Optional trips||Examples include Camp weeks in Muskoka (Grades 4‒6; Grades 7 and 8; Upper School); Grade 7 and 8 trip to Ottawa or Québec City; Grades 9‒12 overseas trips (typically European destinations)|
Academic and merit-based entrance scholarships are available on a limited basis, and are typically allocated by February each year. Please include a scholarship application with your application if you would like to be considered for an entrance scholarship.
Local applicants can request financial aid through Apple Financial Services before January 30. This third-party firm shares a confidential assessment of financial need with Hudson College, and must be completed every year. Kindly notify our Admissions team if you have requested aid through Apple Financial as part of your application.
