Fees and Financial Aid

2024–25 Fees

Application fee: $200
Enrollment fee for new students joining Grades 1–12: $4,000

JK and SK tuition: $19,000
Grade 1–12 tuition: $21,500
Materials fee: $700

Entrance Scholarships

For new families, Grade 7–12

Academic and merit-based entrance scholarships of up to $2,000 are available on a limited basis. Please request an Entrance Scholarship Application from Admissions.

Financial Aid

For new and returning families, Grade 7–12

Families can request needs-based financial aid by completing an application through Apple Financial Services. Apple is a third-party firm that collects documentation from families and shares a confidential assessment of financial need with Hudson College.

Payment Schedules

1. Deposit

The following fees are due within 1 week of accepting an offer of admission:

One-time enrollment fee (Grade 1–12) – $4,000 per family ($2,000 for legacy students)

Deposit – $4,000  

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.

2. Balance

The balance of fees can be paid three ways:

Single payment due in June; receive a 5% discount and optional tuition insurance

Three payments due in June, September and December. Families receive a $100 hot lunch credit.

Ten payments due May–February.

Tuition insurance is required for families selecting the three-payment and monthly payment plans.

Payment Methods

Families can pay by cheque, e-transfer, pre-authorized debit (no additional fees) or credit card (payment platform fees apply).

Discounts

Second and subsequent siblings receive a 10% tuition fee discount. This cannot be combined with other discounts.

Families selecting the single payment plan receive a 5% tuition fee discount.

Additional Costs

The following costs are provided as a guideline only, and may vary each year.

Uniforms
Approximately $600 for all new required items. Some pieces are available on consignment; there is also a parent-run uniform swap group on Facebook.

Hot Lunches
$6–7 per meal. Order as many or as few meals as you like each month, with online payment.

Extended Care (JK–Grade 5)
Before-school care is available from 8–8:55 and after-school care is available in two sessions: pick-up before 5 p.m. and pick-up between 5–6 p.m. Fees are billed monthly according to part-time (3 days/week or 12 days/month) or full-time (5 days/week) use.

Part-time
Before-school: $50 (JK & SK), $100 (Grade 1), $75 (Grade 2–5)
After-school, pick-up by 5 PM: $75 (JK & SK), $150 (Grade 1–5)
After-school, pick-up after 5 PM: $125 (JK & SK), $250 (Grade 1–5)

Full-time
Before-school: $75 (JK & SK), $150 (Grade 1–5)
After-school, pick-up by 5 PM: $125 (JK & SK), $250 (Grade 1–5)
After-school, pick-up after 5 PM: $200 (JK & SK), $400 (Grade 1–5)

Upper School Textbooks (Grade 9–12)
$500–1,000 depending on a student’s course selection; our textbook provider has secondhand items available, and we organize an in-school textbook sale each fall.

Optional Programs

Some clubs and programs with outside instructors or requiring special materials may incur a fee, for example:

Doyle Soccer Lunchtime Skills Training (JK–Grade 2) – $115

Learn to Skate program with Performance Skating (JK–Grade 3) – $45

Off-Campus Trips
Blue Mountain day trip – $60
Grade 4–6 Camp Muskoka trip (3 nights) – $450
Grade 8 end-of-year Niagara region trip – $1,005
Grade 9–12 spring break abroad, e.g. 2 weeks in Europe – $4,250 including flights
Grade 9 camp week, four nights in Muskoka area – $455
