Balanced Curriculum, Balanced Learning
What subjects are available to study? Which clubs or activities should a student join? Hudson offers a wide range of courses—in fact, our Upper School offers 86 total courses with 68 optional courses. Our individualized, academic environment was designed especially to help each student explore all possibilities, passions, and newfound talents, plus ensure a well-rounded education—inside and outside the classroom.
At Hudson, we believe that everyone can be creative and inventive—whether a student is studying illustration or film in digital or traditional mediums, or they’re a STEM student exploring technique and process. Our hands-on Arts Program inspires students to cultivate their creative side. Students can explore new ideas, collaborate with classmates and guest artists, and challenge the norm. We offer painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, student-run art workshops, set design (for drama performances), Artists-in-Residence events (interactive installations), visits to Toronto art galleries, and opportunities for students to show their own work at local art galleries!
Hudson offers STEM-bound students many options to study their chosen discipline or path—and we’re particularly proud of the fact that, to-date, 47% of our girls entered STEM programs, accounting for almost half of the STEM graduates.
