Two of our 12th grade students, Julia and Rena were nominated to participate in Women in Capital Markets’ Annual Job Shadow Day. The girls had an opportunity to spend a day in Toronto’s Financial District and shadow influential women who work in the field of business and commerce. WCM provided workshops, keynote speakers and one-on-one guidance in an effort to mentor aspiring businesswomen. The girls were able to visit major Canadian banks, such as RBC and visit the trading room at the stock exchange. This invaluable experience shed light on the possibilities young women have to excel in capital markets and we hope that future Hudson students will benefit from such an opportunity.
