On Saturday, October 17, we're opening our doors — for families considering JK to Grade 5. Come see classrooms in session, meet our teachers, and get an honest first look at the school.

Hudson is a small independent school in Toronto's west end, teaching kids from JK through Grade 12. On October 17, we're opening the doors — not for a slide deck or a boardroom pitch, but for a real morning. You'll be in classrooms, in hallways, with teachers and students. You'll see it as it actually runs.
Coffee, tea, and a friendly hello from our admissions team. No forms, no clipboards.
Ten minutes with the Head of School and the Head of Elementary — what Hudson is, what it isn't, and what to look for on the tour.
Walk the building with a current student and a teacher. Classrooms are running. Kids are learning. You'll see it as it actually is.
Back in the common room. Ask about academics, class sizes, admissions, financial aid — everything is on the table.
One more coffee. A moment to talk to teachers or students you met. Then out the door — no follow-up you didn't ask for.
Yes — bring them. Kids join for story time in the library, walk the halls with you, and often make up their own minds on the tour.
No. This is a first look, nothing more. Some families come to Open House a few times before applying. Others come once and never do — both are fine.
We host private, one-family tours most weekdays. Email admissions@hudsoncollege.ca and we'll find a time that works.
Ninety minutes, start to finish. If you need to leave partway through, that's fine — the tour comes first.
Free street parking on Ascot Avenue and side streets. On transit, we're a short walk from Dufferin Station and the St. Clair West streetcar.
Sessions do fill — the elementary block especially. Get us your details and we'll send a confirmation, directions, and a session guide.
