On Saturday, October 17, we're opening our doors — for families considering Grades 9 to 12. See the labs, walk the halls, meet current Grade 12s, and get an honest look at where our students head next.

Hudson is a small independent school in Toronto's west end, teaching kids from JK through Grade 12. On October 17, we're opening the doors — not for a slide deck or a boardroom pitch. You'll walk the labs, the art studios, the university counselling office, and hear directly from current Grade 12s about what the last four years actually looked like.
Coffee, tea, and a friendly hello from our admissions team. No forms, no clipboards.
Ten minutes with the Head of School and the Head of Upper School — how the high school program works, where our students go after, and what Hudson does differently.
Walk the building with a current student and a teacher. Science labs, art studios, the university counselling office — all the spaces your child would spend real time in.
A short panel with current Grade 12s about their time here, then Q&A on academics, universities, extracurriculars, admissions — everything is on the table.
One more coffee. A moment to talk to teachers or students you met. Then out the door — no follow-up you didn't ask for.
Absolutely. High school is a decision your child needs to feel — they should be in the room with current students, see the classrooms, and get a sense of the vibe themselves.
Yes. Part of the morning is a short panel with current Grade 12s — no scripts, just an honest conversation about what their four years looked like.
Ontario universities (Waterloo, U of T, Queen's, Western), international schools, and specialty programs across arts, sciences, business, and engineering. Our university counselling team can walk you through recent placements in the Q&A.
No. This is a first look. Some families come to Open House a few times before applying. Others come once and never do — both are fine.
We host private, one-family tours most weekdays. Email admissions@hudsoncollege.ca and we'll find a time that works.
Free street parking on Ascot Avenue and side streets. On transit, we're a short walk from Dufferin Station and the St. Clair West streetcar.
