Funded by Families

Hudson College receives no government funding and carries no endowment. We run entirely on tuition and fees, which keeps our finances straightforward, our decisions practical, and our accountability directly with the families we serve.

Entrance Scholarships

Merit-based entrance scholarships are available on a limited basis for Grades 7–12. Please indicate that you would like to be considered for a scholarship in your application.

Financial Aid

Renewable needs-based bursaries are available for Grades 7–12. We review financial aid applications using Apple Financial Services, a third-party firm that collects documentation from applicants and shares a confidential assessment of financial need.

Discounts

Second and subsequent siblings receive a 10% tuition fee discount. Single payment plans include a 5% tuition fee discount; this cannot be combined with the sibling discount.

New international students pay standard tuition, materials and enrollment fees ($28,450 for Grade 1–12). Additional fees are outlined below; see also our full . All fees are refundable if Canadian immigration authorities deny a Study Permit, less the $200 application fee.

Includes a Uniform Voucher ($600 one-time fee), International Health Insurance ($600 annual fee) and International Student Support Fee ($3,000 annual fee)

Homestay Program

This school-managed program for Grade 9–12 students includes a private bedroom, three daily meals, and full family immersion with a carefully selected host. A $200 placement fee applies. Billed each semester.

Additional Costs

The following costs are provided as a guideline only, and may vary each year.

Uniforms
Approximately $600 for new required items. Pieces may be available on consignment or through our parent-run uniform swap.

Hot Lunches
$6.50–7.50 per meal. Order as many or as few meals as you like each month, with discounted term plans and online payment.

Extended Care
Billed monthly, with three sessions (drop-off 8–8:55 AM; pick-up by 5 PM; pick-up by 6 PM). Choose part-time or full-time, so you only pay for the care you need.

JK & SK: $50–275

Upper School Textbooks (Grade 9–12)
$500–1,000 depending on a student’s course selection.
