Hudson provides comprehensive guidance counselling including help with admission requirements, best-fit programs, and timelines. We support OUAC, US, and UK applications, offer workshops, and provide one-on-one meetings with our Head of Guidance.
Our three-semester system allows students to distribute challenging coursework more strategically. Students also benefit from a daily 90-minute study period for project collaboration and one-on-one teacher support.
The STEM Acceleration Pathway allows motivated students to study science and math beyond their current grade level. Dedicated AP courses in Calculus AB, Chemistry, and Biology are available for Grade 12 students.

Yes. ESL support for Upper School students is covered by the Tuition Fee when offered during the school year. An intensive six-week Summer ESL program is also available.
We design individualized academic pathways to build a strong language foundation. While an ESL requirement may extend study time, any additional semesters are billed on a prorated basis.
Credits are granted based on the equivalent full grade completed abroad: 0 credits entering Grade 9; up to 8 for Grade 10; up to 16 for Grade 11; up to 24 for Grade 12.

Every international student is enrolled in Hudson’s approved 12-month health insurance plan with up to $5,000,000 in coverage per person and no deductible. Full coverage includes emergency care, hospitalization, prescriptions, and mental health support.
First-year students: $32,850 CAD. Includes Tuition ($23,500), Activity & Materials Fee ($950), International Program Fee ($3,000), Health Insurance ($600), Enrollment Fee ($4,000), Application Fee ($200), and Uniform Voucher ($600). Returning students: $28,050 CAD.
Supervised Homestay: $1,400/month + one-time $200 Placement Fee. Legal Guardianship Services: $1,500 per school year. Airport Arrival Service: $120 per trip.
A 5% tuition discount applies for single payment. Fees can be paid in three instalments: June, September, and December. A 10% sibling discount applies to second and subsequent siblings but cannot be combined with other discounts.
If a Study Permit is not approved, Hudson College will refund all fees including the Enrollment Fee and Tuition Deposit. The only non-refundable fee is the Application Fee ($200).
Yes. Merit-based entrance scholarships of up to $2,000 are available for students entering Grade 7 and above.
Yes. Upon receipt of the tuition deposit, Hudson immediately issues the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) required by IRCC. We also provide letters of support for Temporary Resident Visa and Visitor Record applications, and can connect families with a trusted Toronto-based RCIC.
Yes. All primary and secondary schools in Canada are automatically Designated Learning Institutions. You do not need to include a specific DLI number on the Study Permit application.
Yes, all students must have a legal guardian in Toronto if their parent(s) do not live in Toronto, regardless of age. Hudson can help secure a professional legal guardian at $1,500 per school year.
Hudson maintains a small program of only 15–20 students annually, individually matched with best-fit local families with oversight from our dedicated Homestay Coordinator. This provides an exceptional level of individual attention that larger boarding programs cannot match.
Hudson directly manages the Homestay Program without external agencies. Every host family undergoes rigorous screening including a mandatory Police Vulnerable Sector Check, in-home inspections, and personal interviews.
Yes. Students are welcome during winter, March, and summer breaks. In rare cases when the regular host family is unavailable, a suitable temporary host will be arranged to ensure continuous care.
